The Waxx Academy is run by Lisa, the owner of Waxx Norwich. Lisa is a multi-award-winning intimate waxing specialist who has been in the beauty industry since 2007, specialising in waxing since 2010. With a passion for delivering the very highest standards of intimate waxing, Lisa has now opened The Waxx Academy to pass on her knowledge, techniques, and love for the craft to other professionals wishing to elevate their skills.
At The Waxx Academy, all training is offered on a 1-2-1 basis, ensuring every student learns at their own pace in a supportive and confidence-building environment. Lisa provides training in female, body, facial and intimate waxing to help you grow your expertise and enhance your salon services.
The Courses on offer
Essential Master
Introduction to waxing for strip and hot waxing. We cover all of the skin types, hair type, and all theory that you would expect and more of course.
This is great for a complete beginner, or for someone who wants a full refresher.
This would usually be combined with 2 days practical training
Hot Wax Master
Uses the content from above but as a Hot wax conversion for those who aren’t confident in using hot wax.
This would usually be combined with 1/2 day practical training.
Intimate Master
This is the full female Intimate waxing including pregnancy and sexual health
This would usually be combined with 1 day practical training. The student will need to hold a waxing qualification in basic waxing to enrol on this course.
